Construction of Fortress’s new proposed logistics facility with a GLA of 13,007m² at Eastport Logistics Park has started. The building is anticipated to be completed by November 2025.
The total GLA of 13,007m² comprises:
– Warehouse: 11,604m²
– Pilot office: 132m²
– Warehouse mezzanine: 334m²
– Double storey offices: 801m²
– Guardhouse and sundry buildings: 136m²
The building will include:
– 15m of clear internal height
– A post-tensioned, power-floated, jointless FM2 concrete warehouse designed for a 12-ton load per racking post
– The facility includes both on-grade and dock-height automated sectional doors
– A 12m wide canopy over all on-grade roller sectional doors
– A large 38m wide yard
– Dali lighting installed throughout the warehouse
– A 10,000-litre back-up water system
– The facility will be Green Edge Certified
