Says Ivan Pretorius, Founder of Alley Roads Group and Subsidiaries, “We’re excited about the progress made with Riverstone Mall, the first formal retail offering in Meyerton, set to launch in 2025”.
“This is Alley Roads’ first retail development, part of our 175 000m2 development pipeline earmarked for underserved townships and peri-urban areas across South Africa.”
“Affordable housing and retail developments are some of the important drivers required to establish these new nodes. For this reason, we’re also developing a 337-unit residential estate adjacent to the mall.”
“On completion, our total investment into the Meyerton community will exceed R600 million. In addition to bringing convenience shopping to Meyerton residents and surrounding areas, the development of Riverstone Mall creates jobs and economic opportunities for locals. Approximately 1,200 jobs will be created during the construction phase and an estimated 250 permanent jobs will be created upon completion.”
