Segonyana Mall set to open in Kuruman, Northern Cape

Following the successful renovation of Kuruman Mall in 2015, the mall has consistently grown, with a waiting list of national retailers eager to secure space. This surge of interest, coupled with the contentious state of the Central Business District, underscores the need for a new, safe, and secure shopping venue.

The Moolman Group has pinpointed a prime 3.1-hectare location at the corner of Tsening Road and Bree Street, directly opposite the well-known taxi rank, to develop a 10,000-square-meter Convenient Shopping Centre, aptly named Segonyana Mall. This name pays homage to the Segonyana Municipality.

Anchored by popular stores such as Boxer and Shoprite, Segonyana Mall will also feature a range of well-known fashion retailers, banking facilities, a butcher shop, familiar eateries, and more. The mall promises easy access, safe on-grade parking, and robust security, providing businesses currently operating in the CBD with an opportunity to offer their customers a safer and more relaxed shopping experience. Additionally, there will be a convenient connection between Kuruman Mall and Segonyana Mall via the taxi rank, further strengthening this retail hub.
