Fortress generates 100 million kWh in solar power

Fortress Real Estate Investments has achieved a major sustainability milestone, generating 100 million kWh of solar power since 2017—enough to supply 9,000 urban or 28,000 rural homes for a year. With 96 solar PV systems totaling 35.49 MWac and plans to expand to 106 by December 2025, Fortress is driving renewable energy penetration toward 24% by 2026. More South Africans looking to solar as tariff increase brings more woes
